Hill Tow in Operation
The Mailbox Hill rope tow was 1200' long, and
had a 250' drop. That's a healthy tow! The Plymouth Cordage
Company made the rope tow. The tow was also upside down, with the engine at the
top.
A view of the top of the
tow, including the engine house. |

Skiers riding up the lift. |
Looking down the entire
length of the tow. Nice packed powder conditions! |

A bit further down the lift,
note the Pemi river in the background. |
