Thanks to Duncan Fordyce, we now know about this likely ski area in Bondville. Here are his details: 

In the late 1940's, "urban" legend has it that a small rope tow that seems to have been operated for the benefit of the town on a small slope behind what is now the Norse House ski shop on Route 30 - about a stone's throw south of the Stratton Mountain Access Road.
