| Thanks to Ed Wardwell, we now know of this ski area that operated in Lake George. According to Ed, a Mr. Hammond operated a small, single rope tow near the Magic Forest Amuseument Park in Lake George. Here's a view of that place. The slope is completely grown up, but is behind the motel on the left. |  |

Just to the right of the
above picture appears to be a liftline. There was a small shack near
there. There is a chance, however, that this is nothing more than an old
road.
