This ski area offered a long (1600 foot) tow and 100 acres of skiing in 1939. The owner lived in nearby Fairlee, VT. The area had 100 acres of open slopes and was located on Rte 10 at the south end of Orford Street.
By 1941 (NH Winter Map), the tow was now 2000ft long (one of the longest in the state), and was then operated by the Orford Winter Sports Club. There is no mention of the area in any guidebooks after 1941, so it is presumed the area closed during World War II.
That's all I know on this one! Anybody remember it?
