According to the 1947-1948 NH Winter Map, there was a ski area called Omer Giles Tow in Jackson. While nothing else is known about it, Omer Giles eventually went on to run Pinkham Notch in the early 1950's. Perhaps he abandoned/moved the tow to that ski area?
