In 1949 this ski area
offered skiing on a 750 foot long rope tow, which was ideal for novices.
The slope it serviced was 1000 feet long and 500 feet wide. The maximum
grade was 18 degrees. (From World Ski Book).
Walter Melville hand drew this map of the King's Mountain Slope...many thanks! |
Does anybody remember this one? If so let us know.
