Eaglebrook, a private middle school founded in the early 1920s, has carried a long tradition of downhill skiing to the present on three different areas. The first real ski slope is most likely as labeled on the topographic map from Microsoft Terraserver: |

I have heard that there was a rope tow servicing this 100+ vertical slope which was open until the second lost ski area of Eaglebrook opened. Here's a view of the area from the top of the currently used Easton Ski Area: |
