William Hartley: In eastern Mass during the 40's or 50's there was a rope tow in Breakheart Reservation in Saugus.
| Larry took the following four pictures and has this to say: I've heard stories about a rope tow that operated in MDC Breakheart in the 50s'. At the top of the hill behind the old office I found a car frame and motor. The rims on one side appeared to have been altered to accommodate a rope tow. ......notice the difference in size and the grooves. |
